Our client is a nationwide provider of Courier and Transport services with branches throughout New Zealand.

To be considered for this role:

You will have a complete understanding of the differences in selling a service, apose to selling a product and yes there is a big diffrence........ and you must have sucessfully sold a service before!

About the role:

Having been very successful in selling a service previously as the Business Development Manager you are responsible for the building and maintaining of strategic relationships and the achievement "SME new business" targets. You will be provided with all the tools of the trade and the autonomy to succeed. You will be supported by an Outstanding Manager who will work to ensure you have all the resources to exceed targets. The roles is based out of Lower Hutt and covers the Wellington region.

Key Tasks:

  • New Business Development

  • Client Implementation

  • Client Retention and Development

  • Client Profitability

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • New Business development in selling a service not a product.

  • Strong computer skills, excel proficient

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Local sales experience is a big advantage.

  • Strong decision-making capabilities

  • Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism

Location:

  • Lower Hutt, New Zealand.

Remuneration:

  • $60k to $80K Based on experience + Company Car + Uncapped Commission + Tools of trade
